Meet Lorelei
Hi! My name is Lorelei, I’m a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) and Certified Music Therapist (MTA). I strive to provide a safe and creative space for people to gain a deeper self-understanding and develop tools for navigating life's challenges. As a registered counselling therapist and accredited music therapist, my speciality lies in integrating the creative processes (music, visual art, creative writing) in therapy as tools for self-expression, reflection, empowerment, and growth. I see each person as an innately and uniquely creative person capable of using this creativity as a resource in their therapy.
Sessions with me typically integrate elements of talk therapy, EMDR, somatic practices, and music therapy practices.
My approach to therapy is person-centred, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based. I see therapy as a collaborative process: together, we can develop tools that enable you to live fully in all aspects of life.
I welcome anyone and everyone in need of a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space to reach out. Additionally, as a queer-identifying therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting and empowering 2SLGBTQIA+ folks of all ages.
